Stephanie and Mark’s elegant wedding at the exclusive Ocean Reef Club was nothing short of magical and relaxed, reflecting the couple’s unique personalities and passions. Before the big day, a lively welcome party on the beach, illuminated by bistro lights set the stage for an unforgettable experience. As Mark is an avid golfer and all things adventure, glow-in-the-dark golf added a touch of excitement and personalization to the festivities. To close the night, they even had a fire performance!
We’re huge fans of first looks here at Kolour Haus, but Stephanie and Mark chose to preserve the special moment of seeing each other for the first time at the ceremony, opting out of a first look. We made sure we have plenty of time for their portraits so it wasn’t an issue. It was worth it! The anticipation and love in their eyes as they met down the aisle made for a heartwarming exchange.
Garden Inspired Ceremony
The ceremony took place on a green lawn at Greenberg Park at the Ocean Reef Club. It’s overlooking the vast Atlantic Ocean, framed by graceful palm trees and tall grasses. The aisle was adorned with exquisite white florals, leading up to a breathtaking white floral arch that served as the perfect backdrop for their vows. During the ceremony, they had Jacob painting this special moment live. We love it when our couples hire live painters. It’s just a great compliment to the photos!
As the sun dipped below the horizon, they said I do and left in their Tiffany blue golf cart in true Ocean Reef Club fashion. We toured the key and ended our session right on the golf course for sunset. In the meantime, the reception ballroom transformed into a wonderland of white, light blue, and lilac wisteria cascading from the ceiling, creating a celestial ambiance that left guests in awe.
The couple’s creativity shone through with a custom ice sculpture tequila shot luge, adding a fun and interactive element to the celebration. A four-tiered cake took center stage in front of a green wall adorned with a neon sign proudly displaying “The Foremans,” an elegant symbol of their new union.
Throughout the day, Stephanie and Mark’s trust in Kolour Haus as their photographers was deeply appreciated. They allowed us the freedom to be artistic and document the wedding day in a documentary-style approach, capturing candid moments and genuine emotions effortlessly. This trust created a relaxed and enjoyable experience for everyone involved, fostering a sense of genuine connection and making our work a true labor of love. – XO Jess
