If you’re looking for that classic art deco charm for your engagement session, The Confidante Hotel in Miami Beach is it! Emily and Nathan wanted their photos to have that pop of color that only Miami Beach can offer. To make things even better, the Confidant Hotel is right on the water. So we were able to do two looks and really have fun. We may or may not have moved around the lounge chaises into the water. May or may not. 😉
Why your engagement session location matters
It’s true. Where you do your session really dictates the feel of your images even more so than the style of the photographer. If you’re looking for vibrant images, then a place like the Confidante Hotel is perfect. But if you’re looking for lots of greenery, then Vizcaya would be your ideal choice.
In Emily and Nathan’s case, they were having a destination wedding in Miami the following year. It was important to them that their session matched their Barbie Pink Villa Woodbine wedding. So If you’re having a destination wedding in Miami like them, I recommend you do a session that reflects your wedding theme. This way when you send the save the dates, update the wedding website or print any artwork for the wedding, it’s cohesive.
